JAWS On The Water

Location: Volente Beach Water Park (Lake Travis - Volente, Texas)
Dates: Weekends in July, 2017 (15 shows total)
Expected Attendance: 600 tickets per show (9,000 tickets total)

Event Overview:

Imagine relaxing on an inner tube with a cold drink in hand on a perfect Texas summer night, your feet languidly dangling in the calm Lake Travis water. Now imagine you’re also watching the greatest thriller ever made, projected across the water while unknown terrors threaten from the watery depths...

JAWS ON THE WATER is back, and this year we’re headed to the third dimension of terror. Birth.Movies.Death Events is proud to present five weekends of “dive-in” screenings of Steven Spielberg’s Great White chompfest JAWS on sunny Lake Travis at Volente Beach Water Park.

Besides showing Spielberg’s masterpiece, this year we’re also diving deeper into the JAWS mythos with these special screenings:

* JAWS 2, for one night only!

* JAWS 3, screened one night only in 3D, where the action bites back!

* JAWS: THE REVENGE, the much-maligned series finale that bought Michael Caine a house, hosted by Alamo favorites, Master Pancake Theater.

"Could there possibly be any scarier way to watch JAWS?"
- CNN
"Now, this is how JAWS was meant to be seen."
- MTV
"As the lights dimmed, I pushed off on my inner tube and floated into position near the screen. "It's only a movie," I repeated to myself, as the ostinato ramped up and the shark took its first victim."
- USA Today

JAWS Day: Sunday, July 2nd

Our Movie Party presentation lets you LIVE the shark-hunting adventure along with your pals Brody, Hooper and Quint — minus the salty sea air and actual mortal peril. Featuring interactive props and surprises, it’s the most fourth-wall-busting-fun you can have on dry land, and certainly the most this side of JAWS 3-D.
